Motorola’s Common-SGSN (C-SGSN) platform compliant with 3GPP standards (R5 & R6) architecture and functionality. The platform is responsible for establishing the Mobility Management (MM) context upon MS attachment and the Packet Data Protocol (PDP) context with the GGSN upon activation. It is capable of supporting up to 3 Million GPRS/HSPA subscribers and 3 Million active PDP contexts.
