Components of this solution include:

Multiple Switching Office (MSO) — Establishes the call processing and routing function for all subscribers in the Harmony network including radio frequency (RF) and enhanced base transceiver system sites, private branch exchanges, voice-mail servers, data connections and short message service centres.

Enhanced Base Transceiver System (EBTS) — Provides RF wireless connectivity to the subscriber unit and contains the site controller, environmental alarm system, base radios and radio frequency distribution system.

Net Dispatch Messenger (optional) — Enables Voice over IP (VoIP) dispatch communication among PC clients and wireless Harmony subscribers

Console Subsystem — Interfaces with the Net Dispatch Messenger to enable dispatchers to control work groups, monitor talk groups and support emergency situations from a central operations point.

iDEN Handsets — Two-way digital radio, digital cellular phone, text messaging and data/fax capabilities.
