Program Managers have been identified to manage the MCD Motorola Validated PLUS Program. They will also act as the Motorola Validated PLUS Plan Administrators. The following is a current list of Motorola Validated PLUS MCD Peripherals:

Yes, each Partner will be required to name a Motorola Validated PLUS Plan Administrator. This person will be the primary point of contact for Motorola in all matters regarding Motorola Validated PLUS products and approval.
The Motorola Validated PLUS Administrative Board consists of a cross-functional team from Motorola. At a minimum, its members consist of representatives from Quality, Test and Validation, Product Marketing, Regulatory, Technical Publications, Customer Service, MSS and MSG. The Motorola Validated PLUS Program Manager is responsible for insuring the Motorola Validated PLUS Administrative Board maintains sufficient technical expertise to insure sustained compliance.
A number of tools will be utilized to announce new partners to the Motorola Validated PLUS program as well as new products available through Motorola Validated PLUS partners. Tools available include: Symbol.com/Motorola Validated PLUS, PartnerSelect Hallway, MCD Web Portal, Sales Insight, Industry Solutions Group web portals, Velocity E-Newsletter, E-mail Blasts and Sales & Marketing Bulletins.

Products must meet the original product manufacturers product specifications. These specifications are required to be largely equivalent to the target attachable Motorola product specification in order to assure interoperability across all specified environmental conditions.
The Motorola Validated PLUS partner shall perform product qualification testing. All testing is reviewed by Motorola and must be accepted before the Motorola Validated PLUS approval is granted.
The Motorola Validated PLUS Partner is responsible to perform and provide all quality test and validation test reports as proof of compliance with stated product specifications.
The Motorola Validated PLUS program has been developed with input from the Global Services Division. Motorola Tier 1 Support would take the initial call to review the system performance and escalate to Motorola Tier 2 Support if required. If the Motorola Support Center determines the problem lies not in the Motorola product but in the Motorola Validated PLUS Partners product, the caller would be warm transferred (handed off real time) to the Motorola Validated PLUS Partners support line.
Products can be tracked in Motorola's standard Customer Service System.
Motorola Support Center will not support calls relating to media, consumable materials, accessory paraphernalia, etc. Calls will immediately be “warm transferred” to the Motorola Validated PLUS Partner after it has been verified that the equipment is functioning correctly.
The Motorola Validated PLUS Partner is contractually obligated to notify Motorola of all engineering change notices affecting form, fit or function to Motorola Validated PLUS approved products.
The Motorola Validated PLUS Partner will be contractually obligated to notify Motorola of all regulatory changes that affect any Motorola Validated PLUS approved products.
Printers, Printer Cables, Cradles/Dongles, Headsets, Temp Probes, GPRS, RFID, GPS, MSR, Smart Card Readers, Vehicle Holders, BioMetrics, Modems. Others will be added as new solution sets are defined.

A Motorola Validated PLUS logo and usage guide will be available for Motorola Validated PLUS Partners to utilize. The Motorola Validated PLUS co-mark and usage guide will be available for download on Motorola Validated Solutions. Usage of the logo is optional for Partners.
A Usage Guide will be available to define the appropriate usage for identity (i.e.: visual identity usage such as color vs. reversed out; area of isolation; do’s and don’ts, etc.).
The Motorola Validated PLUS co-mark will be available to all Motorola Validated PLUS approved Partners. The Motorola and/or Motorola Validated PLUS Logo should be used in connection with Company products and services, and communications. The Motorola and/or Motorola Validated PLUS Logo should never be placed within the body of text, and should not be combined with any other marks or logos.
The Motorola and/or Motorola Validated PLUS Logo should not be modified in any way except to resize the logo as necessary. The resized logo must have the same constrained proportions as the original logo.
Permission to use the Motorola and/or Motorola Validated PLUS logos, trademark and taglines may be granted by Motorola's Integrated Marketing under any existing licensing programs, and by Motorola Marketing with Legal approval for new programs or permitted uses.
Personal use of the Motorola and/or Motorola Validated PLUS logo, trademark and taglines is permitted only on Motorola company stationery and business cards.
Motorola reserves the right to immediately terminate permission to use its logos to anyone not following these guidelines.
