Overview
Citizens can now choose a self service option to initiate service requests using the same workflow logic available to your departments.

Service request types are easy to identify either through pull down menus or keyword searches. Locations can be validated and questions appropriate to the service request type asked. Your citizens can provide the details needed to properly engage your departments to response.

Once service requests are submitted, your citizens receive a confirmation email and can follow up on the status of their requests.

Other searches to expedite answers to your citizens questionsare are also available. Searching your knowledge base, citizens can quickly find information without having to call, reducing the burden on your call agents or front office personal.

Fully leveraging your agencies GIS, CSR can provide specific information to citizens, based on topics relevant to their residence or locations of interest.

  • Object Proximity Searches: Often the service request is one where the information can easily be handled over the web. "Where can I" questions, such as the nearest place to get flu shots, pay my water bill or borrow a library book are such types of requests.
  • Directory Searches: Another frequent set of questions is "Who are" types. Who is my council person and how do I contact them? Citizens can search for appropriate departments from pull down lists and drill down to subgroups and individuals as needed, with phone numbers, street addresses and email addresses.

With CSR's Citizen Web Portal, your citizens will have convenient, anytime access to a wealth of information and a means to request services.
