ORION™ MapStar Mapping Application

ORION MapStar is a comprehensive digital mapping display designed to reside on-board VESTA® or as an adjunct to third-party Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Customer Premises Equipment(CPE).

Orion MapStar provides PSAPs with easy to read location information on 9-1-1 calls from both wireline and wireless callers.

Automatically populates with ALI or XY data
No operator intervention is required thereby speeding up the process of location data presentation to call takers.

Identifies events, landmarks, Emergency Service Numbers (ESNs) and other incident-related information
Quickly and intuitively relays critical information to the call taker visually.

Supports intelligent display of ALI rebid information
Especially useful in wireless call location when caller is moving

Supports bidirectional communications with optional CAD
Add, edit or delete unit or event information in CAD with data transfer to MapStar

Multiple layer configurable
Shows building footprints; provides hazardous-materials information; deploys up to 300 user-configured layers
