The SM56 UbiSurf softmodem is Motorola’s unique software modem that relies on software, thus eliminating the need for a dedicated modem processor. The result is lower cost and smaller size.

The Motorola software modem is designed to meet the specific needs of the PC and embedded modem OEM.
