The Motorola ITA Plus is an innovative product that allows you to make and receive both VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone calls using Skype—plus PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) phone calls from any household telephone. Save money with VoIP calling without being tethered to your PC. Use one handset for all your in-home calling and enjoy the freedom of mobility and a significant cost savings!

Here’s how it works:
Install the supplied software and plug the ITA Plus into a USB port on your PC. Plug the PSTN line into one of the two RJ-11 jacks on the ITA Plus and a regular telephone into the other. Use a cordless telephone for ultimate mobility around the house.

To make an outbound call through the PSTN, simply dial out as you normally do.

To make an outbound call using an Skype installed on your PC, press the # key when you hear the dial tone on your phone. The ITA Plus will automatically activate the Skype software and guide you with easy-to-follow voice prompts to establish the call. You'll enjoy a no-cost, high-quality, real-time voice conversation from the comfort of your familiar household telephone.

Incoming PSTN calls will ring your telephone—just answer as usual.

Incoming Skype calls are intercepted by the ITA Plus and automatically sent to your telephone. You don’t have to be in front of your computer to answer. Your phone will ring as usual. Just pick up and say hello!
