The SRRC Enhanced Quad Base Transceiver System (Quad EBTS) is a base station configuration that combines RF distribution for up to four Quad Base Radios and a redundant site controller in a single rack. Its flexibility and expandability make it a preferred solution for many base site applications, including cell-splitting, hole-fitting, and initial site development. The SRRC configuration reduces the minimum rack space required for an EBTS by 50 percent (from two racks to one). The SRRC is pre-wired to accommodate four Quad Base Radios.

The SRRC is fully expandable to a maximum configuration of 8 Quad Base Radios in an Omni or 9 Quad Base Radios in a sector site.

Primary Radio Frequency Distribution System (RFDS)
Enables a three branch diversity antenna system (Omni or the first sector in a three sector site).

Easily expandable
Provides for site expansion via standard Generation 4 RFDS expansion racks to a maximum of 8 Quad Base Radios in a three rack omni configuration or to a maximum of 9 Quad Base Radios in a three sector configuration.
