Symbol Service End-of-Life Support Position

Symbol Technologies, Inc., the Enterprise Mobility business of Motorola Solutions, Inc. (“Motorola”) will offer service and support for discontinued products manufactured by Motorola for at least five (5) years after the product's discontinuation date, subject to the following limitations.

The provision of service and support for discontinued product is contingent upon Motorola’s ability to obtain and utilize the parts, technology and/or processes used in the service and support of the products. Should the parts, technology or resources become discontinued, obsolete or no longer available, Motorola will evaluate the impact on serviceability and communicate changes to this policy.

Motorola allocates resources based upon contractual commitments. Motorola customers who maintain continuous service coverage of their equipment, by means of a service agreement, will receive priority service consideration.
