Antenna Sites For Premium Performance
Increased Communications Coverage
In many areas of Australia your mobile two-way communication systems are enhanced with Motorola's high elevation sites. Mobile communications systems benefit from wide area coverage with unobstructed sites providing greater distance between repeaters.
Antenna Site Engineering
Motorola owned and managed sites are designed and controlled by Motorola's engineering department. Utilizing computer analysis, Motorola evaluates the transmitter power, spectral purity, receiver selectivity and sensitivity to determine frequency compatibility.
Antenna Site Integrity
In addition to Motorola's standards of excellence in engineering design and equipment maintenance, Motorola-owned antenna sites are designed to provide security and reliability for your communication system. Motorola-owned sites are constructed to provide protection from harsh environmental conditions, to reduce the effects of lightning, high winds, temperature extremes, and ice and snow loading. When required, many Motorola antenna sites are further protected by alarm systems, restricted access and backup AC power provided by generators.
Motorola Service
The Motorola-owned antenna systems and site facilities are serviced by authorized contractors to provide consistently high levels of maintenance and on-going site support. Antenna site community repeaters receive the same level of optimization and equipment care.
Customer-owned and maintained repeaters will benefit from a Motorola service agreement to satisfy their service requirements. In addition, Motorola is prepared to provide a full range of installation services. Contact your local Motorola Dealer Organization for more information.
Radio Communications Experience
Motorola has long been recognized as a pioneer in mobile two-way communication. Among the developments pioneered by Motorola include: the expansion of the basic dispatcher to mobile/mobile; radio paging; mobile data terminals; remote alarm detection and control; cellular; and control centers.
