Features

Support
Licensed 4.9 GHz Spectrum
The CAP 49400 and CSM 49400 products operate in the license protected 4.9 GHz spectrum.

nLOS Performance
OFDM technology provides near-line of sight (nLOS) coverage. Municipalities can extend coverage into urban areas with multi-path environments and other areas lack of clear line of sight was limiting network expansion.

High Throughput
Municipalities have up to 20 Mbps of total throughput to support bandwidth intensive services like video, data, and multiple voice connections.

Long Range
The PMP 49400 provides connectivity up to 15 miles to reach more locations.

Spectral Efficiency
Use of the limited spectrum available is maximized by providing 20 Mbps of throughput in a 10 MHz channel. AP modules can use adjacent frequencies and be co-located with no vertical separation requirement.

GPS Synchronization
GPS synchronization significantly reduces self-interference and enables co-location.

Common Environment
The CAP 49400 and CSM 49400 use the same application level software, mounting brackets, surge suppressors, and Cluster Management Module 4 (CMM4) as other Motorola Wireless Broadband products. This minimizes the training costs, support costs, spares inventory and makes overlay deployment cost effective and low-risk. Motorola Wireless Broadband 400 Series AP and SM products are fully compatible with One Point Wireless management suite tools.
