Motorola Communications Convergence Engine (CCE)

Motorola’s forward-looking service delivery architecture was one of the first to recognize the benefit of separating the service layer of intelligence and control from the physical network. Motorola's CCE Service Delivery Platform (SDP) represents a new standard that greatly simplifies the way operators launch, deliver and manage new services, applications and content. CCE SDP consists of two complementary products – Motorola’s CCE Service Broker and Motorola’s CCE Content Manager – which allow operators to deliver next gen services and content in fully converged triple play environments.

Motorola's service brokering approach acknowledges that services will be developed by multiple vendors, run on different platforms and require various protocol interfaces.

Motorola’s CCE Service Broker is not tightly coupled with any particular application creation technology. It integrates applications based on different technologies that centrally manages and automates content the acquisition, packaging and bundling of content, including specifying revenue share arrangements with content owners. It enables, developing cross domain promotions (e.g., buy a VOD (Video On Demand) and get voice minutes or ring tones free).
