This standard definition (SD) digital video recorder (DVR) allows TV viewers to select, watch and record programs through the on-screen interactive program guide (IPG). Users can even record two programs at once while watching a third recorded program.
The DVR can be used as a home media server to enable viewing of recorded programs on set-tops throughout the home via MoCA®.
The QIP2708 Hybrid decodes standard definition (SD) digital programs transported via QAM or IP and supports typical digital TV display functionality, including IPG, video on demand (VOD) and commercial-free, CD-quality music.
