    Didn’t the zoom come out back in February 2011? My take is ALL Zoom customers are not happy about this wait. I hope this is a lesson learned and future products won’t suffer delays in new products (Bionic) upgrades (zoom) and updates (gingerbread). Motorola Mobilitiy – you need to be quick and nimble – or you will lose more customers and be eventually sold off for patents. Please try harder.

    This was another Motorola embarassment. As eric correctly points out, there were a lot of unhappy people with this… the original promise was for what… May? And it took until October? No explainations along the way except for “working on it” and “coming soon” and not even an apology.

    I fortunately did not have to worry since I waited and purchased the wi-fi only edition, and the Xoom is a very good product, but you need to keep your customers informed when you get stuck like this.

    Motorola blames Tegra, Tegra says no, and Samsung comes out with a device sporting LTE before… months before Xoom owners see it. Bad form. And I… am a Motorola fan. But your decisions sometimes make explaining things very difficult.
