For those asking for information about the ICS upgrade for RAZR and RAZR MAXX not on Verizon Wireless, we have had a delay which means we’re unable to roll out in Q2 as planned. We’re working through the changes that need to be made to the software to ensure you get the best experience from all the new features ICS will bring. We will update you when we have further details on a new roll out.

Hi. I was completely excited with the new ICS update. So much so that I actually kept a list of all the great new updates such as screen capture, face lock and the voice command option so that I may remember to get in the habit of using them. However, the voice alarm command for setting an alarm never triggers. By that I mean it will actually say that the alarm has been set but the icon in the notification bar does not appear unless you actually go into the alarm application menu. It always accepts the voice command but sadly it does not fully set the alarm. I’ve missed a few alarms this way. (Droid Razr Maxx: ICS) PLEASE FIX!!!

Also just realized that the new voice dictation update on my droid maxx hasn’t changed. It doesn’t do what the updates says it should do (i.e. continuous dictation for writing emails/ texts). But if I had to pick my number one pet peeve about the update, it has got to be the removal of the multi home screen panning. You know how it use to do back when you’d hit the home button twice from your desktop. I use love the fact that you can zoom out to see all five panels no matter which home screen panel you were on simply by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
