I’m sold. My rooted OG Droid is on its last leg…but I’ve been waiting for a legit replacement (sorry, the D2 and D3 were not worth the upgrade, especially once I rooted). I was thinking of the RAZR Maxx but I’m a sucker for an actual QWERTY keyboard. I’m due for un upgrade next month, Droid 4 here I come!

Not releasing with ICS=no deal. I’ve seen what your upgrade habits are like and Unfortunately that means loosing a customer to the Nexus. Sorry moto. Good try. Thanks for getting me interested in Android though, you showed me what to really look for with the OG droid, an unlocked bootloader, no crapware, top of line hardware and software, and hacker friendly.

    Pretty excited for this.

FYI if you lower the price of the lapdock to $100 you just won the small laptop market.

IS there any chance my extended battery from my droid 3 will fit this one?

Please Moto, don’t forget your fans outside the US! Especially the mobile-review blogs in Europe are full with user-comments asking for a QWERTY-slider device. There were no decent QWERTY-device since Milestone 2!
