Welcome to Mobile World Congress! Once again the Motorola Mobility team has descended upon Barcelona en masse to attend Europe’s biggest mobile conference – showcasing our latest technology, software and services for work, home and play.
Whether you are interested in the latest smartphone and tablet devices, innovative software that delivers the new ‘must have’ feature, or technology that transforms the way consumers experience entertainment at home and beyond – we’re showcasing it all.
But we’re not just talking about the “fun” stuff this week. With growth of BYOD (bring your own device) work cultures, the subsequent consumerisation of IT, we’ll be talking about how we’re enhancing Android’s enterprise capabilities to deliver powerful, secure, sophisticated mobile devices to the business and enterprise market.
Motorola’s Business Ready devices are spearheading the growth of Android powered devices in the enterprise with more than 20 models of smartphones and tablets launched over the past three years, and recently announced devices such as the Motorola RAZR offer industry-first features such as FIPS 140-2 government-grade encryption.
Other productivity tools include MotoCast™ by Motorola for remote file access, Smart Actions for task automation, and Citrix® GoToMeeting® for collaboration while on the go are also ensuring our Android devices are ready for business.
We’re also ensuring our devices are the preferred tool not just by “consumers” but also the IT team, with the launch of a brand new MOTODEV for Enterprise resource center which allows developers to quickly, easily and securely deliver and deploy in-house or commercial applications and services.
