ICS Social Networking : Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Motorola on Verizon

August 17, 2012 : BY Motorola

Social networking has changed on your DROID RAZR, DROID RAZR MAXX, DROID 4, and DROID XYBOARD 10.1 by Motorola,  with ICS. Rather than use a social networking widget that throws it all into one bucket, you can use the individual apps you like best, from Facebook to Google+. All are available in the Google Play Store.

Shouldn’t those slides say “Google Play (formERly Android Market)”??? Not “formALly”? It used to be Android Market, so it was formerly Android Market… Formally, it’s called Google Play now…

I actually miss the all in one widget. Any plans to make it open source and in the market?

How about some news on the ICS update for the bionic. Is this thing ever going to happen? I was cajoled into getting the phone by a Verizon rep who said that it would be updated months ago and feel like I have been had.

Hey Robert — Sorry to hear that. Your device will receive the upgrade in Q3. For more news and information, we’ll announce here — htto://moto.ly/icsupdate.

This was not a good move. They should bring this back because why would u have us jump from app to app updating statuses when we can do it in one click? Bring it back in the next update or make it open source in the Play Store. That would be A LOT better for us DROID users.

I also miss the all in one widget. Especially the way it let you update both Facebook & Twitter with a single post.
