While unlocking a bootloader isn’t for everyone, for some people, it’s a must-have. Which is why we’re so happy to announce that a special Developer Edition of the DROID RAZR M is now available (or available for pre-order, depending on when this is posted). The device comes packed with all the same features and specs as the DROID RAZR M while also offering the infinite customization possibilities offered by an unlockable bootloader.
Additionally, the DROID RAZR HD will also soon be available as a Developer Edition. You should only unlock their bootloader only if you’re comfortable with the process and know exactly what you’re doing, since you will be voiding the warranty and risking data and functionality loss.
