Last month, we announced that the DROID RAZR M Developer Edition came with an unlockable bootloader. We’ve added two new devices to the Bootloader Unlock program – the MOTOROLA RAZR i and MOTOROLA RAZR HD.

The RAZR i comes packed with power, speed and an edge-to-edge screen in a compact design. It also comes with Intel Inside® to boost the performance of your camera, Google Apps and more.

The RAZR HD has all-day battery life, a 4.7” HD display, with incredible features and is impossibly thin. To learn more about the RAZR HD and its availability, sign up to receive updates.

While unlocking a bootloader isn’t for everyone, for some people, it’s a must-have.  Which is why we’re so happy to announce that a special Developer Edition of the DROID RAZR M is now available (or available for pre-order, depending on when this is posted). The device comes packed with all the same features and specs as the DROID RAZR M while also offering  the infinite customization possibilities offered by an unlockable bootloader.

Additionally, the DROID RAZR HD will also soon be available as a Developer Edition. For a full list of devices that come with an unlockable bootloader, check out the motorola.com/unlockbootloader page.  There, you’ll also find step-by-step instructions to unlock the bootloader on your device.  Contact @MotorolaSupport on Twitter, or the Owners’ Forum for questions you may have.

You should only unlock their bootloader only if you’re comfortable with the process and know exactly what you’re doing, since you will be voiding the warranty and risking data and functionality loss.
Make sure to pick up your Developer Edition of DROID RAZR M and tinker to your heart’s content!
