The answer is a lot simpler with schedules for over one million public transit stops worldwide now available when you download the updated Google Maps for Android app (version 6.10) from the Google Play Store. The Transit Lines layer has been modified so that you can select a specific mode of public transportation (train, bus, tram or subway) to display on the mobile map, while eliminating those you don’t need. If you already have the app on your device, hit the update button in the app store.
Offline Maps is great for those times when an internet connection isn’t available, and your GPS is on, so you can search routes that have been saved to your device. With many countries supported, your maps can get you from point a to point b in numerous time zones across the globe.
