In just a few days, 15,000 runners of all stripes will carb up, lace up their running shoes and flood the streets of New York City with New York Road Runners (NYRR) for the NYC Half Marathon. And at least four runners – Linda Chan, Elizabeth Maiuolo, Neil Strahl and Karla Bruning – will have MOTOACTV to keep their minds and bodies motivated as the miles tick by.
For the last several weeks, these four “MOTOACTV ambassadors” have gotten to know this device the best way you can – taking it along on run after run after run as they train for the big day. Here’s what they have to say about MOTOACTV:
Elizabeth Maiuolo
“Wore it on my run this morning along with my Garmin and I was very happy with it. Loved the sound! Got satellite faster than my Garmin!! And it synched very fast as soon as I walked in.”
Elizabeth also said she loves the fact she doesn’t need to carry an extra gadget for her music – plus there is plenty of space for all her songs. Even organized by playlist!
Linda Chan
“I had my first real run using the Motorola MOTOACTV this morning and I can’t believe how impressed I am with it. It was exciting to see my splits right on the device’s attractive, easy-to-access and easy-to-read display. This should give me more incentive to get out of bed in the morning for those runs as I train for the NYC Half Marathon!”
Linda also can’t stop praising MOTOACTV’s ability to fully integrate her music with her training, and she looks forward to using her performance playlist to help push her during the NYC Half Marathon!
Neil Strahl
“So far I have used the MOTOACTV for over a week. I have also run it in some instances side-by-side with my Garmin and have found it actually more accurate! So far it is extremely impressive.”
Neil’s favorite thing so far? MOTOACTV’s extreme accuracy and unbelievable feedback regarding workouts. He loves the ease of downloading stats and the info it tracks.
Karla Bruning
“GPS and mp3 all in one? Yes please! So far, it seems like a really cool device.”
Last, but certainly not least, Karla can’t get over the fact that MOTOACTV doesn’t just combine GPS with an MP3 player, but actually measures her performance during each individual song.
The Verdict?
The ambassadors have spoken, and you heard it here first. MOTOACTV is pretty awesome.
