Summer’s around the corner, so it’s almost time for you to take advantage of the trendy food trucks in your city! Lucky for you, every Motorola Business Ready smartphone (including DROID 4 by Motorola & DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola) has the ingredients you need to plan the perfect lunch hour.

  • Twitter Widgets: Sync your Twitter app to the big screen and get real-time updates from food trucks so you don’t miss out on that last taco or BBQ beef sandwich you’ve been craving all morning.
  • Google Maps: Utilize turn-by-turn directions and detailed maps with 3D buildings so you can find your favorite food trucks no matter where they park.
  • Customized Screens: Keep your business and productivity apps on one screen and your food reviews, food-truck locations and other pleasure-of-the-palate-related apps on another. That way, you can do a quick switch so the boss doesn’t catching you cooking up lunch ideas (when you should be paying attention to her presentation).

Motorola and Verizon Wireless are kicking CES 2012 off in style with three new exciting additions to the DROID lineup:

Take Care of Business in a Flash With DROID 4

Rail-thin at just ½”thick, and ready to get down to business when you are, DROID 4 by Motorola is the thinnest, most powerful 4G LTE QWERTY smartphone around. With a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and a five-row QWERTY keyboard with a PC-like layout and edge-lit keys, DROID 4 can handle even the most demanding lifestyles. If that wasn’t enough, cool software like MotoCast and SMARTACTIONS will keep you connected and flexible at work or play.

Power to the Purple

It’s a color fit for kings. And now, DROID RAZR. Because DROID RAZR by Motorola is adding purple to the color revolution. Coming in just a few weeks, the new color comes with a 16 GB on-board memory. Whether you get DROID RAZR in purple, classic black, or white, you get all the same amazing features that make it possible to search the Web and stream media at breakneck speeds with 4G LTE.

DROID RAZR to the MAXX

DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola is the longest-lasting battery on the smartphone block. Hands down. At just 8.99 mm, the device is still crazy thin. This device is perfect for those who spend their days and nights multi-tasking, and has enough juice for talking on the phone for over 21 hours straight. So you’ll almost certainly run out of stuff to talk about long before your battery fades.

UPDATE: To get the latest information on MotoCast, please visit the support page.

Last month, we resurrected a legend when we launched DROID RAZR. Although definitely reminiscent of the original, the new DROID RAZR isn’t afraid to break new ground either.  Not only is it the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone in the world, it’s also “Business Ready,” delivering some of the most innovative mobile technology and helping build the office of the future.

For many of us, there’s little (if any) separation between our work and personal lives. It’s rare for our work days to begin and end in an office. We check email while grocery shopping, take conference calls from the airport, hold video conferences from remote locations, and review tomorrow’s schedule before heading to bed.

Motorola Mobility spotted this trend years ago, and we’ve invested a lot of time and resources to make all of our devices Business Ready to meet the increased demand for one device that does it all while also ensuring that personal and corporate date stay safe and secure.

Every Motorola product bearing the Business Ready mark means one thing: your device is ready for work. Right out of the box, these devices will easily connect with your office productivity tools, work with your corporate network and uphold your IT department’s stringent security policies.

Motorola gets down to Business

Earlier this year we established an Enterprise Business Unit to focus solely on developing Business Ready products and solutions that enable companies to empower their workers and provide greater flexibility to individuals.

For those who remember our first Business Ready device, DROID PRO, you know it offered a number of security and productivity features. We’ve come a long way since then. Today, every Business Ready device has those standard security features you’ve come to expect — such as password protection and remote wipe capabilities — but now they’re even more secure, more intuitive and more powerful.

DROID RAZR is a great example of how committed we are to rapidly evolving our Business Ready devices. You can now edit Word and Excel documents, take a video conference call from the road, access remote files using MotoCast™, and unlock the webtop app to browse the Web using a full Firefox browser on a Lapdock or HDTV. It even offers U.S. Government-grade security for email, calendar and contacts data. Basically, it’s a smartphone that can handle everything life throws at you.

We need devices that can do more and more while maintaining an environment that keeps personal and corporate date safe and secure. Our Business Ready products meet the challenge. And I promise we’ll never stop innovating and creating new solutions that “M-Power” your life.
