Motorola's Six Sigma has a specialised training program designed for all executives and management staff who serve as process owners or project champions. This two-day workshop, part of the Champion Training Program, covers a gamut of topics that include:
- Introduction to principles of Six Sigma
- Roles, responsibilities and expectations of the Six Sigma leadership team, champions, Black Belts and Green Belts
- Six Sigma process improvement process - DMAIC and tools
- Six Sigma change management
- Six Sigma reward and recognition
- Six Sigma project selection criteria
Program Overview:
In the Motorola University Six Sigma Champion Training Program, participants learn how to manage Six Sigma projects effectively.
- They focus on Six Sigma tools and methods and review situations where tools can be applied within improvement projects.
- The program content gives participants a high level view of the training delivered to Black Belt and Green Belt candidates.
- Six Sigma trained Champions will be able to describe the importance and impact of Six Sigma quality, while defining their own roles and responsibilities.
- Participants will be able to enumerate the DMAIC model and continuous improvement tools, determine the appropriate application for those very tools and methods and use them for project implementation
