Designed to ensure that there is a proper foundation for the introduction of Six Sigma in the organisational set up, the Motorola University employs the Leadership Jumpstart Program, which provides the framework for this activity.
- In consultation with the organisation's Key Executives (such as the CEO, CFO, COO, MD, General Managers of Operations, HR, IT, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, etc. and their second in commands), a review is made of the organisation's Six Sigma deployment plan to ensure alignment of Six Sigma with stated objectives.
- By determining the organisation's deployment goals and success measures, cultural and operational constraints and identifying and meeting with key players, we provide customised advice on proposed Six Sigma structure and reporting lines.
- This is aided by a review of the organizations communications plan followed by a review of Black Belt certification criteria, before finally deploying the Six Sigma work processes and practices in the working systems.
Program Overview: Motorola Six Sigma Leadership Jumpstart Program The Leadership Jumpstart program introduces senior management to Six Sigma principles and methodologies. With this workshop, senior executives build a solid action plan for the organization's Six Sigma initiative, aligning organizational strategy and goals to the Six Sigma Framework.
- The Jumpstart Program enables senior executives to understand the importance and impact of Six Sigma quality by analysing the key criteria and practices directly related to Six Sigma
- Executives also learn how Six Sigma supports their strategic business goals, which in turn enables them to choose high-impact Six Sigma projects for implementation, allocate resources for identified projects and plan a change campaign for their Six Sigma initiative.
