In India, Motorola, in association with TQMI - Total Quality Management International, offers customized training and consultancy programs, tailored to augment quality, productivity and customer satisfaction while reducing cycle time and cost. All geared to equip organizations with the practices and processes that define the functioning standards of the future.
Motorola's Senior Management Adoption and Deployment Planning Program is designed to ensure that there is a proper foundation for the introduction of Six Sigma in the organisational set up. By determining the organization's deployment goals and success measures, cultural and operational constraints and identifying and meeting with key players, Motorola provides customised advice on proposed Six Sigma Structure and reporting lines.
Motorola's Champion Training program is designed for all Executives and Management staff who serve as process owners or project champions. Here, the participants learn how to manage Six Sigma projects effectively, focusing on Six Sigma tools and methods and review situations where tools can be applied within improvement projects.
Black Belts are Motorola's Six Sigma methodology experts with a detailed knowledge of the DMAIC problem solving methodology and the statistical principles, which support it. Since a key role for Black Belts is to effectively lead project teams, the Motorola University program prepares candidates to do just that, by giving them the skills and knowledge they need for the exceptional leadership of business improvement projects.
Motorola also trains Green Belts in certain aspects of its Six Sigma methodology so that they can help cascade Six Sigma approaches and techniques throughout an organization. They are employees at all levels who serve as high-performing team members on Black Belt project teams, or as leaders on projects that do not require the Black Belt level of analytical rigor. |
