Motorola Labs are the wellsprings of innovative technology that goes into all our products. We have organized our labs into discrete Centers of Excellence in key research areas. Each Center of Excellence has brought together some of the brightest minds in their fields to work collaboratively on applied research crucial to the advancement of Motorola’s business foundation. Motorola researchers have backgrounds in physical sciences, material science, math, physics, engineering, computer science, and business administration, among others. About 50 of our colleagues hold more than 25 patents each. Our pipeline is growing, and our applied research is moving into exciting new areas, and into capabilities once thought unattainable.
