Subject: Customer Hologram Introduction

In our continued effort to stop counterfeiters, MobileME is introducing a Motorola Original hologram that will be placed on new Bluetooth and high-tier products. This hologram will be the primary indicator to determine an original Motorola product from a counterfeit. Adding the hologram will make sales of counterfeits more difficult for the counterfeiters. For you, it will be an easy identifier of an original product.

The first products with the Motorola Original hologram are the Bluetooth Headset H9 and MOTOROKR™ S9. MobileME will continue to rollout the holograms on new products this year. In addition, we will include the hologram on some of our most popular products that are already in the market. Once we begin rolling out the hologram on these products, we’ll be sure to share more details on the specific products and the hologram placement on those products.    

Specifically for the Bluetooth® Headset H9, the hologram will be placed on the bottom of the charger base. It is a flat 5-millimeter by 10-millimeter hologram that is designed to remain on the product. For the MOTOROKR™ S9, a 7-millimeter by 32-millimeter hologram will be placed around the headphones towards the back. This hologram is created to be removed by the consumer. Additionally, a statement regarding the hologram will be on the Motorola packaging for these products. The statement reads, “Look for the Motorola Original hologram on this product to ensure its authenticity.” To learn more about the holograms and view images of the hologram, placement on the product and packaging statement, view the guidebook available on our Motorola Original site.
