Motorola Personal DevicesThe cellular revolution began over 20 years ago when Motorola announced the availability of the first commercially available cellular phone in the world with the DynaTAC 8000x. Today, the device formerly known as the cell phone has become more than just a communications device, it is an extension of the person who uses it, a remote control to seamless mobility whether at home, at work, in the car or anywhere in between.

Motorola has been driving mobile communications innovations with superior design, advanced technology and new experiences. Today, your mobile phone is also your camera, your entertainment device, your third screen. You can do more and experience more with the mobile phone.

In 2005 and at CES, Motorola brings wireless technology to the slopes with a new alliance with Burton Snowboards. Incorporating advanced technologies like Bluetooth, the two companies will be co-producing a wearables line that ensures seamless communication while participating in active winter sports.

Motorola is furthering their leadership in next generation cellular technology, with the introduction of the E815, its first EVDO handset. Allowing for richer experiences and clear, concise communications, the Motorola E815 brings the idea of "the third screen" to life, enabling new features like video on demand more music all of the time. With the introduction of the EDGE enabled V635 and V186, Motorola continues to combine its innovative design with advanced technology to bring compelling/beautiful devices to a mainstream audience.

And lastly, Motorola continues to bring rich entertainment to consumers. With the V635's one megapixel camera, video playback and EDGE technology, consumers can capture and share life's events quickly and easily.
