Motorola Computer Group is setting the industry agenda for computing solutions in the embedded infrastructure space.

We have development centers in Hyderabad (India), Southborough (MA, USA), Tempe (AZ, USA), Loughborough (UK) and Shanghai (China).

We are leading the transformation of the embedded infrastructure to next generation technologies by offering the telecom and networking industry Application-Enabling Platforms which combine hardware and software into a pre-integrated and pre-validated platform.

Application-Enabling Platforms are based on Industry standards—such as PICMG AdvancedTCATM, Service Availability Forum, OSDL Carrier Grade Linux, and Internet Engineering task Force (IETF) Protocols.

We are on a growth threshold and looking for talented technologists to fill open positions in the following areas:

  1. Development – MPLS, IP Routing, High Availability Middleware and Embedded Platforms.
  2. System & Verification – For all of the above products.

Opportunities exist at various levels. Engineers or MCAs interested in working on next-generation product development, with 2 or more years of experience and having the following skills and experience can send their detailed profile to QFTG48@motorola.com

Must have all of the following skills:

  1. Good Problem Solving Skills.
  2. Good C Programming Skills, preferably on Linux.
  3. Good knowledge of design/test methodologies.
And experience in any of the following:
  1. Hands on in the development of career grade IP MPLS Routers.
  2. Development experience in any of these protocols in a career grade environment; RSVP-TE, LDP, CRLDP, BGP, VPN, PIM, OSPF-TE, CSPF, RIP & IS-IS
  3. System Testing and validation of the above products.
  4. IP MPLS dataplane implementation in Linux kernel.
  5. Linux system programming for Communication equipment.
  6. System Testing and Validation of Operating Systems/ Middleware for Telecom Equipment.
