Bresnan Communications for Rollout of High-Speed Data Services Throughout the
Rocky Mountain
Region
Motorola’s
next-generation, carrier-class platform emerges as the CMTS/router of choice
among cable operators
ANAHEIM, Ca. –
3 Dec. 2003 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) Broadband Communications Sector
today announced that Bresnan Communications has chosen the Motorola Broadband
Services Router (BSR) 64000 for deployment of high-speed data services to
customers in its Rocky Mountain Region. In addition to the rollout of

advanced services deployments in the

Bresnan selected the next-generation
Motorola BSR 64000 CMTS/router following a trial deployment and testing
of the platform’s advanced features. Motorola will work closely with
Bresnan to implement advanced IP-based services throughout Bresnan’s

“We challenged Motorola to
fit a demanding set of requirements specific to our unique needs. The Motorola
BSR 64000 was the one CMTS/router platform that met those requirements to

positioning us for future services,” commented Shawn Fisher, director of
advanced services at Bresnan Communications. “In addition, the Motorola
technology provides ease of both deployment and operation, which are vital

but to accommodate future advanced services
deployments.”

2003 announcement of Bresnan’s selection of the Motorola BSR 64000 for a
3,000-mile infrastructure upgrade throughout its cable systems in Montana,
Wyoming, Colorado and Utah.
