The new MA500 analog series and expandable MD700 digital system round out Motorola’s cordless phone offerings with advanced features and the convenience of 5.8 GHz technology

(NYSE:MOT) today announced the expansion of the company’s cordless phone portfolio with the introduction of two new product lines that take advantage of the long range, exceptional clarity and virtually interference-free properties of 5.8 GHz technology. Sleek, stylish, and available immediately, the new Motorola MD700 and MA500 cordless phone series are two new flexible options for cordless communications in the home or small office.

The new Motorola MD700 series 5.8 GHz digital cordless phone system combines a premium industrial design with high-end features that are perfect for the home or small office. The MD700 system is equipped with the latest features such as polyphonic ringtones, enhanced lighting effects, frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology for clear digital conversations, and the ability to connect up to eight additional handsets to one base station.
