Motorola Launches “The Motorola
Ojo™ WINMEMOTO Sweepstakes” at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show
Motorola helps FOX kick-off
the fourth season of hit drama “24” with a sweepstakes that includes
a grand-prize Motorola OjoTM Personal Video phone
LAS VEGAS – 06 January 2004 –
Motorola, Inc., (NYSE:MOT) today launched “The Motorola Ojo™
WINMEMOTO Sweepstakes” at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas
(Motorola Booth #8545). The sweepstakes coincides with the consumer launch of
the Motorola Ojo Personal Video phone, a CES 2005 “Best of
Innovations” award winner, and the explosive two-day, four-hour season
premiere of FOX’s hit drama “24”
on Sunday and
Monday, Jan. 9 and 10 (8:00-10:00 PM
ET/PT).
CES attendees are encouraged to stop by
the Motorola Booth (#8545) to register for a chance to win a pair of new
Motorola Ojo personal video phones. Other sweepstakes prizes include FOX
“24” gear such as DVD sets, t-shirts and more. Winners will be
selected on January 17, 2005.
The promotion
brings together Motorola’s revolutionary personal video phone and
FOX’s groundbreaking drama. “24” has been nationally
recognized for its innovative format, and use of technology in the series’
storylines. The Motorola Ojo represents a giant leap forward in personal
communications, bringing videophone technology out of the future and into the
Connected Home. Combined, both products appeal to tech-savvy,
action-entertainment oriented consumers.
In
addition to the “WINMEMOTO Sweepstakes”, FOX is kicking off a
national “24” Season 4 Premier Radio Sweepstakes” in the
following participating radio markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago,
Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Detroit,
Houston, Seattle, Tampa, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Phoenix, Denver, Sacramento,
Orlando and St. Louis. All participating radio stations will air five-day
sweepstakes promotions awarding Motorola’s daily prize and Season 3
“24” DVD sets each day leading up to the selection of the
grand-prize Motorola Ojo personal video phone
winner.
