LAS VEGAS, NV – January 6th, 2005 – At the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show, Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT), a global leader in wireless communications, today unveiled three new color flip phones. Leveraging the power of EVDO (Evolution for Data Only) and EDGE (Enhanced Data for Global Evolution) technologies, the new Motorola E815, V635 and V186 deliver the entertainment consumers want to their mobile device...bringing the “third screen” to life.

With the debut of these handsets, Motorola demonstrates its commitment to the continued deployment of 3G technology and the evolution of its EDGE portfolio – moving the desktop experience into the mobile world for wireless management of business, life and communications with unprecedented ease.

Motorola E815
Designed to further on-the-go multimedia functionality, the EVDO powered Motorola E815 enables consumers to reach high speed* on the device they always have with them. This sleek, fully packed handset delivers video-on-demand* for replaying sports highlights and viewing of the latest music videos and access to news, weather reports and stock prices at faster data rates than non - EVDO products.

The model E815 also offers Bluetooth wireless technology*, a 1.3 megapixel camera, video capture and playback and an integrated MP3 player. Extensive memory including 40 MB internally and room for TransFlash™ removable memory makes it possible to enjoy and store countless music and media files*. And with speaker independent name and digit dialing fully integrated with Bluetooth, the consumer can now have true hands-free operation.

Motorola V635
The Motorola V600 has morphed into the V635, delivering a 1.2 megapixel camera, video capture and playback, expandable memory and EDGE technology. With enhanced imaging features and the faster speeds that come with EDGE*, the model V635 becomes a powerful multimedia device. Whether you want to shoot, snap or send, the V635 can handle your imaging needs while on the go.

Complete with Bluetooth wireless technology and quad-band reach*, the Motorola V635 offers seamless sharing. The model V635 also functions as a wireless modem for ‘always on’ Internet connections and downloading and sharing data with rapid convenience*.

Motorola V186
The new Motorola V186 integrates EDGE technology into the perfect voice-centric device. For consumers who want a reliable and affordable mobile device, the V186 now delivers high speeds for fast downloads*. With its color screen and sleek black and silver exterior, this little mobile packs a lot of power without an excessive price.
