LAS VEGAS, NV. – 6 January
2005 – At the Consumer Electronics Show (Booth #8545, Central Hall),
Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) unveiled new Seamless Mobility solutions, including
high-speed and feature-packed handsets and an alliance to develop wireless
communications-enabled
outerwear.
“Motorola is bringing power to
the person through Seamless Mobility,” said Ed
Zander, chairman and CEO, Motorola. “Whether at
home, in the auto, at work or out in the world, we recognize that the consumer
is in command, and we develop solutions accordingly. We’re catalysts for
– rather than controllers of – the consumer’s
experience.”
Ron
Garriques, Motorola executive vice president and
president of the company’s personal devices business, will present a
keynote on Thursday, January 6, at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time at the Las Vegas

In addition to showcasing new Seamless
Mobility solutions, Motorola is celebrating “Best of” honors
bestowed on two of its newest designs – the Personal Videophone known as
