Motorola Expands QWERTY Revolution, Announces Q for UMTS

UMTS Q Will Deliver Increased Power, Speed And Functionality To The Thinnest, Lightest And Coolest QWERTY Family On The Planet

BARCELONA, Spain – 3GSM World Congress - 13 February 2006 – Showing its commitment to evolving the mobile office beyond the exclusivity of the corporate boardroom, Motorola today announced the UMTS version of its heralded Q device family. The first Q is expected to ship with CDMA/EVDO capabilities later this quarter with the newly unveiled version expected to be available for operator trials in late Q4 2006.

Touted as the first family of devices that blend style with productivity; the Q offers an uncompromising combination of a great phone, powerful email and captivating entertainment features that deliver a strong business and personal mobile experience. Pricing and Availability
The first Motorola Q is expected to be available this quarter on CDMA/EVDO and available for operator trials in late Q4 2006. At this time no operator customer relationships have been announced and pricing hasn’t been disclosed. For additional details please contact your local Motorola representative.
