Motorola Announces Second Quarter Earnings
Release and Conference Call

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- July 9, 2002 --
Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) is scheduled to issue its second quarter results at
approximately 4:30 P.M. Central Daylight Savings Time on Tuesday, July 16,
2002.
On Wednesday July 17, Motorola will hold
a conference call with financial analysts. This call is scheduled to begin at
7:00 a.m. Central Daylight Savings Time.
