Edward Fitzpatrick is senior vice president and chief financial officer Motorola, Inc. He joined Motorola in 2000 and served as acting CFO from February 2009 to October 2009.

Previously, Fitzpatrick was corporate vice president of finance for Motorola’s Home & Networks Mobility business. Prior to that, he served as vice president and controller for the Networks & Enterprise and the Government & Enterprise Mobility Solutions businesses, and controller for the Connected Home Solutions business.

Prior to the Motorola acquisition of General Instrument Corporation (GI), Fitzpatrick was assistant corporate controller with GI. Before joining GI, he was a senior manager at Price Waterhouse. He also became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1990.

Fitzpatrick received a master's degree in business administration from Wharton School of Business and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
