Creating next generation software platforms As a Motorola Fellow and a Dan Noble Fellow, Paul Steinberg leads the development of the Network & Enterprise business end-to-end network architecture and common platform strategy and manages the business' research portfolio. Prior to this assignment, Paul contributed to system architecture and software development for Motorola's cellular infrastructure common platforms as well as to the Japan PDC and CDMA2000 cellular access network product families. Throughout his career, he has focused on IP networking, high availability platforms, application architectures and call control aspects of network solutions.
What does Paul's work at Motorola mean? It means creating an end-to-end network architecture and common platform strategy that sets the foundation for Motorola's seamless mobility vision. To develop an end-to-end network system architecture, Paul collaborates with our customers and partners on architecture enumeration, security, inter-system, mobility, an IP architecture for QoA and solutions for device and subscriber management. Paul is recognized among platform technology vendors and ecosystem providers, as well as peers in other TEMs, as an expert in platform technologies, high availability, operating systems and vertical applications.
