Ron Buskey currently leads a team within the Motorola Applied Research Center focused on security architecture for future product platforms. This research includes techniques to realize trusted operation and protection of information at a fundamental level so that product applications do not have to each be concerned with all of the security issues. This should allow information and services to be provided across multiple devices and systems in a trusted fashion.

Buskey's is working with component providers to design and build security into the platform elements for Motorola products. This will produce enhanced trusted platforms that will be resistant to virus and software hacking attacks on the Motorola product portfolio.

His work at Motorola is enabling products to continue to adopt security solutions. These security solutions allow end users and customers to have increasing confidence and trust in our products and to provide protection of private information and continuity of service. Ron has also been instrumental in contributing to standardizing these security approaches across Motorola.
