Our Impact
Actions speak louder than words: Motorola Mobility Foundation reaches more than 500 organizations a year through creative, targeted support that leverages both our expertise and our charitable giving.
Student Maker Challenge
Motorola Mobility Foundation created a student competition to design hardware, software, or combined technology to solve a community problem or help make the world more accessible to people with disabilities. More than 100 Chicago-area students participated.
Pilot STEAM Curriculum for Students with Learning Disabilities
Motorola Mobility Foundation worked with the Cove School to launch a STEAM (science, technology, education, arts and math) pilot. This program introduces students with complex learning disabilities to engineering, robotics, software, and design basics.
Maker Lab Sponsorship
The Chicago Public Library’s Maker Lab offers access to free workshops and state of the art digital design equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and milling machines.
